This section highlights not only the excellent fish-passage performance of our screw pumps, but also their long-term economic advantages. Despite a higher initial investment, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis shows that over an 80-year lifespan, our enclosed screw pumps are\u00a0<strong>millions of dollars more cost-effective<\/strong>\u00a0than traditional open screw pumps\u2014thanks to their higher efficiency, lower maintenance requirements, and reduced energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FishFlow\u2019s screw pumps are cited in the report as among the\u00a0<strong>most fish-friendly pumping solutions<\/strong>\u00a0available, achieving a survival rate of 99\u2013100% for migrating eels (tuna).
